About Us
The Bangle word “Prantojon” mean marginalized people. Prantojon is a non-profit non-government voluntary organization. On 4 May 2004, a group of committed young people founded PRANTOJON at Barishal in Bangladesh. Subsequently, on October 11, 2010 PRANTOJON was registered under the Department of Social Services of the Government of Bangladesh. The organization plays a strong role in increasing democratic practices, educating people on human rights and protecting human rights. Also the organization has been working to develop the livelihood of marginalized people to fast the flow of development as well as alleviate poverty.
The organization has implemented various projects for the development of marginalized people at the grassroots. They also organized conferences, Workshops, Seminars, campaigns and Advocacy for different issues to the realization of rights. Alongside, Study and Research on different significant aspects by the organization made aware of the development initiatives as well as involved with the continuous development activities in order to improve their livelihood.

MISSION STATEMENT
PRANTOJON has started its journey with the aim of changing the ordinary life style of the unconscious people, especially those who are under poverty; suffer from hunger, malnutrition; proper education and sophisticated medical facilities. To solve the prevailing problems of the oppressed, exploited, destitute and asset less people in the community PRANTOJON promises a happy and prosperous life.
